I wish that deer got shot sooner he was incredibably obnoxious
Lol thanks for the review!
I like it but I can't help but feel this ends too abruptly, even for a W.I.P
Well I actually have prepared a more appropriate teaser than this recently. But submitting it now would reveal quite alot so yeah I just went with this one cause this is what I have made back than but right now I've made big progress (I even have a voice actor) and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Thanks for leaving a rating and review :)
I. can't. stop. watching.
Im sorry
Animation looks really nice! I particularly liked the lip sync! The colouration is pretty sweet too! Any criticism I'd have though is .. its a bit short, even for what it is. Also, while I kinda joked about it once before I still feel like Casino should wear some kind of legwear...
On his own, him wearing just a shirt is fine but next to Pebbles it looks awkward.
Looking forward to seeing more though buddy! :D
Thanks! I also noticed it, I think I'll try giving him some shorts or something lol.
I was wondering when this was gonna come up on this site! I enjoyed it at the time and I still enjoy it now!
Great work!
NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAA!
Yeah it is finally up! Thanks bro!
KAKUNANA KAKUNE! (Live life richly, Connor-san!)
YOU MAD, NESS? HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE
HUAHUAHUAH!
This is really cool to watch. Its delightfully full of cheese. Seriously I've watched this several times. It starts slow but that can be forgiven for the beautiful animation that follows.
My only criticism aside from the slow start would be that the nes music and the animation are so different they almost don't feel right for each other. But that's just my opinion. Either way. This is awesome.
A Big thank you for you comment!!! I'm glad you like it the animation style!! =D
I really, really enjoyed this! I'm not one for sprite animations honestly, but half way through this that didn't seem to matter anymore, in fact it just added to its charm. Sure you could have frame by framed it but a short based in the Paper Mario world is one of a few examples I can think of where sprite animation, when done right, can actually suit it better than fbf.
And this done it right.
A couple of times the sprites were enlarged so much it was a little bit hard to make out what exactly was happening but the voice work and writing was good enough to make that not seem like a problem at all! A lot of work clearly went into this and it obviously paid off with the Daily 1st so well done!
Thanks Connor! Yea I agree those certain shots can be a bit jarring, since the paper mario sprites are so condensed with pixels lol Hopefully when I start doing drawn animation I can void that problem all together! XD
Your testing and advice was very much appreciated on this piece, see you in the Superlab!
I'm going to keep this review as spoiler free as I can because there were some moments that gave me a damn good laugh and I would hate to ruin them. As a whole, this is really entertaining even if it is, pretty much just promoting works in the pipeline. But that's what I loved about it - you treated it as it's own separate project and put time and effort into writing and animating it, which is much, much more interesting than just a blog update. Well done!
Thank you very much kind sir!
